Overview
The President’s Challenge 2025 supports 60 programmes that seek to create lasting social impact – by uplifting capabilities, nurturing potential, and enabling individuals and communities to move forward with confidence.
Here are some of the programmes:
Life Community Services Society (Life! Mentors)

A 5-year mentoring programme that gives every child (6-13 years old) a fair chance to succeed in life. With the guidance of trained volunteer mentors (as adult role models), children are supported through a child-centred approach that nurtures their socio-emotional, behavioural, cognitive, and physical well-being - helping them to build strong foundations today to thrive in adulthood.
Morning Star Community Services (Carenights)

This programme partners with social service agencies and social service officers to offer a safe evening space for children while their parents work or attend to family needs. Families receive holistic support through workshops, mentorship and community-building activities.
New Life Stories (Family Strengthening Programme)

A holistic programme that supports children of incarcerated parents through development and therapeutic services, while also journeying with parents during incarceration and reintegration. Grounded in a Family Systems approach, the programme empowers the whole family through three key pillars: Befriending, Incare, and Family Care.
Riding for the Disabled Association of Singapore (Equine Assisted Activities)

Therapeutic riding sessions for individuals with special needs, including children from Special Education (SPED) schools and adults from Social Service Agencies (SSAs). Horse observation, grooming, groundwork, and structured exercises are also tailored to individuals, aiming to provide therapeutic benefits, enhance skills, and support the overall development of beneficiaries.
SHINE Children and Youth Services (Youth COP - Community Outreach Patrol: Scale Up)

A youth leadership-developmental programme in partnership with schools and the Singapore Police Force, aimed at developing youth aged 13–16 to become crime-prevention leaders in their schools and communities, with goals to reduce risks of delinquency among their peers and communities.
Yayasan MENDAKI (Women At Work Programme)

This programme takes a structured and holistic approach to support women aged 21 and above who are re-entering the workforce after a career break. It helps them overcome barriers to employment, regain confidence, and upgrade their skills, so they can secure employment opportunities and continue to thrive in their careers.
