Dr Razwana Begum Abdul Rahim is an Associate Professor at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where she heads the Global Security and Strategy Programme. In 2020, she established the Public Safety and Security Programme, now a well-regarded platform with national and international reach. She served as a Nominated Member of Parliament (2023-2025) and is President of PPIS, advancing evidence-informed approaches to support women and families. With over 25 years’ experience, her work spans social services, criminology, and public policy.
