The President’s Challenge is part of a growing social compact in Singapore – one that motivates everyone to realise their fullest potential and values the many ways in which each of us contributes to society.
From 2025, the President’s Challenge was refreshed to focus on achieving more sustained social impact – particularly by uplifting aspirations, abilities, and potential among those facing greater challenges. This shift is supported by a longer-term funding model, enabling supported programmes to deliver deeper and lasting impact.
This work is only possible because of a caring community of donors, volunteers, and partners who believe in a more inclusive and empowered Singapore.

From 1 January 2025, your donations made to President’s Challenge will be matched by the Government – up to $250 million, under the SG Gives matching grant (General and Enhancing Matching tiers).
General matching
$1 Government matching for every dollar donated. No minimum amount.
Eligibility period: 1 Jan - 31 Dec 2025
Enhanced matching
Up to $1.50 Government matching for every dollar donated. Donations must amount to $250,000 or higher each year, for a minimum three-year commitment period.
Eligibility period: 1 Jan - 31 Dec 2027
